Instructions:
Choose a location on your farm where you will build the cocoa bean farm. It should be flat, and the area should be the same size as 8x9 blocks.
With the soil, create four 2x2 square blocks. Ensure that they are next to each other and form a square in the middle.
Next, use your bucket to pour water on the four square blocks. Each block should have water on each side.
Now you can plant your cocoa beans – be sure to plant them on the blocks with water. Alternatively, you can use bonemeal or bone to help the seeds grow faster.
Once the cocoa beans begin to grow, you need to break the stem carefully at the top using your fist. This way, the cocoa beans fall into the water, and they will be transported to the chest using the hoppers you will place later on.
Place the hoppers as follows: one at the centre of the farm under the chest, one on top of each water block and the other three hoppers evenly spaced in a straight line next to the water block line.
The last step is to fill the chest above the central hopper with a single cocoa bean. This will make it easy to start the farm since you can pick up the cocoa bean when it is harvested and plant it back in the farm.
