Strawberry Sheet Cake
Ingredients:
1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O®
1 cup mashed fresh strawberries
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup milk
4 eggs
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix together cake mix and strawberry flavored Jell-O®. Add mashed strawberries, oil, milk, and eggs; beat well. If desired, stir in chopped walnuts. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.
